Looking for way to shake your groove into the holiday season while helping a local cause? Fans of funk, soul, and rock and roll or any live music enthusiast should bring their energy and support to the Milwaukee Ale House, 233 N. Water Street, on Saturday, December 5th, at 9 p.m. Upside Groove Coalition, a Milwaukee band favorite, will be performing to help feed local families this holiday season through its 12th Annual Food for Families Benefit Show.  

Admission is three non-perishable food items, or an $8 cash donation. All proceeds go directly to Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee. Event sponsors include Milwaukee Ale House and DigiCOPY Milwaukee.

About Food for Families

Food for Families is Hunger Task Force’s signature holiday food drive. From October 1 – December 31, local grocery stores, businesses, schools and organizations host food drives to ensure a local safety net for families facing hunger over the holidays. As Milwaukee’s Free & Local food bank, Hunger Task Force delivers all food donations to the hungry absolutely free of charge
