Tickets still available for Milwaukee Ale House annual MACC Fund benefit – Midwinter Brewfest
MILWAUKEE (February 11, 2015) – For the 19th year in a row the Milwaukee Ale House will open their doors exclusively to craft beer enthusiasts on February 21 for the annual Midwinter Brewfest, benefitting the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (MACC Fund).
Spend a Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., sampling limited brews and fan favorites from some of the best craft brewers in the business, including but not limited to:

Central Standard Distillery
Central Waters Brewing Co.
Goose Island Beer Company
Great Lakes Distillery
Island Orchard Cider
Milwaukee Brewing, Co.
New Belgium Brewing Company
New Holland Brewing Co

Attendees will enjoy live music in the main bar area from Zachary Wade, while the UW Alumni Band entertains guests in the lower level garage. Usinger’s Sausage, Palermo’s and Milwaukee Pretzel Company will be providing food on site and Boelter Beverage will be sending everyone home with a commemorative tasting glass.
“What keeps this event so unique is that one hundred percent of the proceeds go to the MACC Fund,” says Milwaukee Ale House owner, Jim McCabe. “We are proud to be able to leverage a mutual passion for incredible craft beer to support such a worthy cause.”
“Since 2005 the Midwinter Brewfest has raised close to $200,000 dollars for the MACC Fund,” says MACC COO, Becky Pinter. “We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a long-standing partner in the Milwaukee Ale House and so many other local businesses that are dedicated to mission of fighting childhood cancer and blood disorders.”
Additional partners and raffle sponsors supporting the cause include, but are not limited to Milwaukee Brewing, Co., Pabst Theatre Group, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, City Screen Print and Embroidery and Yelp.
Also, to ensure a safe and enjoyable time for all, Uber will have sign up specials for rides following the event.
